THE BOX is the newest accommodation on Lipe. It is located in the middle of Walking Street, across the street from the original Thai Lady Pancake shop. Pattaya Beach and Sunrise Beach are just 5 minutes walk away.
The design of THE BOX is modern, minimalistic, bioclimatic and eco friendly. The resort has been created from discarded shipping containers, but you'd never know it; from the outside the buildings look like they're constructed from wood. Inside the rooms are clean and minimalistic, with fan, double bed, hot shower room, and western toilet. Very little goes to waster here, including the waste water from the showers, which is used to water the surrounding gardens

Accommodation and facilities:
This is the worst hotel I have visited in 40 countries to date, the cleaning staff does not clean, there be people in reception party for the evening. Hygiene is very poor, there are many cockroaches, the state of the showers is very bad, the floor is rotten. There are hotels nearby for less lot better and more hygienic. I do not recommend anyone to stay there, you can get to nag your stay and want to go as soon as possible Koh Lipe . I payed for 4 nights and stay only 1, the horrible situation of cockroaches and no higiene make me look for another place, and i decide to return to bangkok, very poor place.

At the front of the resort, there is a small bar with a hardwood floor area. With 2 rooftop, nice view and quite place while enjoying something cold to drink. All rooms have hot shower.
