Khaolak Bhandari Resort and Spa is situated along the glistening white sand of Khao Lak Beach, just a short walk from the sapphire Andaman Sea. Phuket International Airport lies merely 1-hour ride away. Located within close proximity to the property are various tourist attractions such as National Parks abounded with lush rainforest and waterfalls, perfect spots for eco tourism like elephant trekking and canoeing, the famous Phang Nga Bay Marine National Park and golf courses. The nearby Similan Islands, one of the world’s top ten diving sites, are also ideal for keen diving lovers.
Besides the outsized well-appointed guestrooms, the resort also offers large pools, internet service, spa & massage, restaurant, PADI diving & snorkeling, tour counter.

Accommodation and facilities:
The Bhandari itself is just gorgeous!!! A wonderful resort, great rooms, plants, pool, breakfast, food at the restaurant (a bit expensive though) atmosphere, staff etc. Couldn t imagine a nicer resort to stay at. Everything was perfect! The only but is the location. The good thing about the location is, that you are close to the main street and restaurants and shops etc. What we didn t like was the beach (and the access to it). There are much better places in Khao Lak. We didn t mind too much, because we had a rental car and went to other beaches. The landscape and the beaches are beautiful, Khao Lak itself is just like the Lonely Planet wrote - a one horse town . We were there in the low season and we wouldn t go there again. It was hard to find any good restaurants (if, like in our case - you need some international food aswell, as we were travelling with children). We didn t like the atmosphere - or better the not atmosphere of Khaolak, also there were almost no people. Being sometimes the only people to dine at dinner was not so nice ... The weather was also horrible for most of the time: of course you have to expect that in August, but is was so bad, we had to cancel all of our trips and could do really nothing, which was a pitty. Better go there in high season.

Pleasant boutique hotel near the beach (100m) with a beautiful garden, to the main road 5 min. walk where there is a supermarket and restaurants. Varied breakfast buffet. We stayed in a comfortable Thai Villa and we were very pleased with its size and equipment. The only drawback for us was the lack of sunbeds on the beach.

The hotel was just perfect.You really felt that you are relaxing 100 percent.The room was big and nicely decorated with dark wood ferniture.The pool and the restaurant were very nice but a poolbar would be nice because it s a good way to meet new friends.The hotel staff was very friendly and helpfull, especially the ladies at the reception.The only thing negative was that there were very little tourists at this time in Khao Lak.

Very nice and cosy hotel. Peaceful and quiet (especially summertime). Helpful and nice staff. Clean, big rooms with good bathrooms. The only complaint is that the beds are too hard to be very comfortable.

Very happy with this hotel, bungalows are big and really nice, even though the hotel was fully booked we felt alone listening to the frogs outside at night. The spa is great! Super-friendly staff and lovely surroundings. I recommend this hotel to families, it´s close to both the beach and shopping/restaurants and the pool is very nice. I only wish they could clean the rooms better.
