On Koh Samui's west coast, at the very southern end of the beautiful Lipa Noi Beach, there is hidden a small bungalow resort, called "Little Pearl". Situated right on the beach front and embedded in a lush tropical garden with large umbrageous trees, it is the perfect place for every one searching for a serene vacation place at a very moderate price. Little Pearl comprises 12 Bungalows and 8 Garden Rooms. The air conditioned Bungalows (6 Beach Front and 6 Garden) are spacious single rooms, all with separate bath room (bath tub, warm & cold shower), color TV, mini bar/refrigerator, king size bed and veranda. The small sea side restaurant serves a fine selection of Thai and international cuisine and there is a small play-ground close to the restaurant, so you can have an eye on your little ones while relaxing at a cold drink.

Noisy (a military port is under construction near the bungalows) and stinky (very strong moldy smell in the bungalow) The restaurant was closed and it is necessary to walk one mile to find a place to eat avoid this place...

people who run the hotel are very nice indeed.the hotel itself has seen better days and is in need of restoration.the beach is in a very dirty state and the noise from a new jetty being built spoilt the time on the beach.over-all not a very good holiday experience.

The wiev was perfect,if they had a pool it would be great.....very nice people. The room smelt like somthing had died in there, so it was hard on our doughter that has astma, other good value for money

The family who runs Little Pearl were the kindest, most hospitable people we met in Samui. Apple arranged tours for us and was always helpful and accommodating. It has a great family atmosphere and is close by to many attractions. I ate the best chicken masaman of my life here and I sampled it everywhere. The room was clean and spacious and it had a bathtub! The beach was unspoiled and it was nice to see a working fishing village right outside our door.

I would not go to the Little Pearl ever again, I only stayed for one night and left even though I had prepaid for the whole time there. It is far to isolated away from any shops, you would be forced to have a hire car if you chose to stay there. We were the only people staying there for that one night. There is a lack of television channels, especially if you have children. Anyway not suitable for us.

Perfect for families with small children with a small playground and lots of safe space for playing. Very friendly hosts who helped with everything and went out of their way to make our holiday as stress-free and enjoyable as we had hoped. Wonderful cooking of Thai seafood dishes! Wow! The best fish we d ever tasted. The rooms were clean, spacious and light with good air conditioning and/or fans. Nice beach with shade from the trees if needed and excellent for swimming (no coral or rocks). Will go back when we return from Europe. Thanks Markus and Apple!

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic time in Koh Samui and staying at the Little Pearl Resort. We feel that our stay here made our holiday absolutely fantastic, the owners are wonderful and will do most anyting they can for their guests and the homecooked food was the best we had during our trip. The room was just what we needed with the beach on our doorstep, we feel we found an amazing hideaway and would definately recommend it. We will certainly be returning in the future.

Little Pearl comprises 12 Bungalows and
8 Garden Rooms, all newly renovated in Nov.
07. Our air conditioned Bungalows (6 Beach
Front and 6 Garden) are spacious single rooms, all with separate bath
room (bath tub, warm & cold shower), color TV, mini bar/refrigerator,
king size bed and veranda.

The 8 Garden Rooms also have separate bath room with shower (Thai styled,
only cold water), air con, colour TV, refrigerator and a king size bed.

2 of the Beach Front Bungalows are sized spacious 51 sq.m and have a
second floor room. 2 extra single beds can be provided. 2 of the Garden
Bungalows are sized spacious 46 sq.m. 1 extra single bed can be provided.
For the other Bungalows also 1 extra single bed can be provided on request.

Our small sea side restaurant serves a fine selection of Thai and international
cuisine. From 7:30 to 10:00 AM a rich breakfast gives you the right
start into a wonderful vacation day. There is a small play-ground close
to the restaurant, so you can have an eye on your little ones while
relaxing at a cold drink.
